Ultramarathoning Tussey Mountainback

Jeff, the brother of the owner, ran a 50-mile ultramarathon this past weekend at the Tussey Mountainback. He ran for 10 hours and 10 minutes. Here's a picture of some friends changing his shoes, applying gels, and providing moral support about half way through the race. We followed his progress through most of the race and met him at the checkpoints to make sure he was still hanging in there. We drove part of the course too, and indeed, it was a mountain! He would have worn RunPhones, like he usually does while training, but as with most races, headphones are not allowed for safety reasons.
